Clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and helpful and would come again.

Perfect size and location Positive: The location was perfect for us. It is walking distance to Birkenhead centre. The car parking space is excellent, adjacent to the accommodation and spacious. The property was well heated with plenty of hot water, the shower is very good. There is good space in the property. Negative: There were a couple of issues with no blinds at two of the bedroom windows and with pillows. I was very impressed with how the owner William responded to this in order to resolve the situation. Thank you. It is worth noting that there are a set of stone steps (approx 10) to walk down to get into the property from the car parking space. They are easy to access but it is worth noting if you struggle with stairs.

Positive: Lovely warm, clean, comfy apartment, perfect for our visit to family living nearby, recommended. Negative: A missing blind in one bedroom was the only thing that gave us pause for thought.

Very stressful experience Negative: We never got to stay at this property. I received a message from the host through Booking.com, on the morning we were to check in, offering us alternative accommodation. The message did not reveal the reason for this offer and because my group were travelling separately, I chose to go with the original booking. Unbeknownst to us, the property had been damaged by the previous occupant and was not ready for us at the 4pm check in time. If the host had been forthcoming from the start and told me the reason for the offer of the alternative accommodation, I would have taken up the offer. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing between the host and myself through Booking.com messages throughout the day, my booking was then subsequently cancelled at 5pm. This was very inconvenient as I was then having to look for other accommodation whilst still travelling to the Wirral and having 2 of my group already at the property.

Positive: everything was perfect, property was just like pictures, hosts were quick to respond to any queries, would recommend Negative: nothing
