1. Introduction
Welcome to GuestLaunch, operated by Ugwu Ventures Ltd, 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made directly through our website or by other communication channels.
By using this website, submitting an enquiry, or completing a booking, you (“Guest”, “you”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, you must not use this website or make a booking.
2. Definitions
“Property” means any accommodation in Liverpool or elsewhere in the UK managed or operated by GuestLaunch (Ugwu Ventures Ltd).
“Booking” means a confirmed reservation at one of our Properties.
“Stay” means the Guest’s period of occupation at the Property.
3. Contract Formation
A booking creates a binding contract between the Guest and Ugwu Ventures Ltd.
By completing a booking or making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
This acceptance serves as an electronic signature for the purposes of this Agreement.
Where a booking is made before a separate Rental Agreement is signed, these Terms & Conditions automatically apply in full and form the entire contract between both parties.
4. Booking and Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking.
By confirming your booking, you agree to all house rules and these Terms.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment details.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary by Property and are displayed during the booking process.
Refunds are not provided for early departures or no-shows.
Any approved refund will be processed back to the original payment method within 14 days.
6. Security Deposit and Card Authorisation
A refundable security deposit or pre-authorisation hold may be taken before check-in to cover potential damages, excessive cleaning, or rule breaches.
By completing a booking, the Guest authorises Ugwu Ventures Ltd to charge the payment method on file for any amounts owed under this Agreement, including but not limited to:
Property damage or missing items
Excessive cleaning or waste removal
Rule violations such as smoking, unauthorised guests, or noise complaints
Late check-outs or other agreed fees
This authorisation permits us to make additional payment attempts until any outstanding balance has been successfully collected.
This authorisation remains valid for up to 60 days after check-out, or until all sums due have been settled, whichever occurs first.
7. Guest Responsibilities
Guests must treat all Properties respectfully and keep them clean and tidy.
Guests must follow any house rules provided before or during the stay.
The Guest is liable for any damage or loss caused by themselves or their visitors.
The Property must not be used for commercial activities, parties, or gatherings without written consent.
Subletting or transferring the booking to another party is not permitted.
8. Prohibited Activities
Smoking or vaping inside the Property is strictly prohibited.
Parties, loud gatherings, or antisocial behaviour are not allowed and may result in termination of the stay without refund.
Illegal activity of any kind (including drug use, harassment, or violence) will lead to immediate eviction and possible police involvement.
9. Check-In, Check-Out, and Late Departure
Check-in and check-out times are provided in your booking confirmation.
Failure to vacate the Property by the agreed check-out time may incur a £100 per hour charge, deducted from the deposit or payment card.
Lost keys, fobs, or parking permits not returned within one hour of check-out will incur a £100 replacement fee per item.
10. Liability
Ugwu Ventures Ltd acts as managing agent for the Properties and cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience occurring during the Guest’s stay.
We are not responsible for events beyond our control, such as power outages, building maintenance, or government restrictions.
Guests are encouraged to take out suitable travel or contents insurance to cover personal belongings and cancellations.
11. Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your details are used solely for booking administration and guest communication.
Personal data is not shared with third parties except where legally required or necessary to complete your booking.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, photographs, and branding on this website are owned by or licensed to Ugwu Ventures Ltd.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute any material without our written consent.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, with proceedings ordinarily brought in Liverpool County Court or the nearest competent jurisdiction.
14. Acceptance and Electronic Signature
By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
The act of completing a booking, making payment, or occupying the Property constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and serves as an electronic signature for this Agreement.
